About Cold Fire West

Distributor of Cold Fire for dealing with wildfires and Auto Racing which is manufactured by FireFreeze Worldwide, Inc. COLD FIRE WEST is set-up to assist customers in wildfire applications including structure protection, and other forest fire related management activities.

Cold Fire is an environmentally friendly fire extinguishing agent that is leading the way in firefighting technology and revolutionizing the way firefighters combat fires. Cold Fire works to remove heat and the hydrocarbon fuel sources from the fire triangle. The suppressants in Cold Fire use water as a catalyst to remove the heat as well as encapsulate and breakdown the hydrocarbons in the fuel source to extinguish the fire more rapidly.

Why use Cold Fire? As a non-toxic, non-corrosive product it can be dumped directly into booster tanks with no need to flush out lines. Its thermal insulation capability prevents re-ignition when properly applied, extinguishing the fire faster while using less water, thereby reducing water damage and water supply needs. There is no messy clean up, it is non-slip and has an indefinite shelf life when stored in closed containers, booster tanks, water pressurized units or closed loop systems for use anytime.

Cold Fire has been tested and approved by Underwriters Laboratories in the United States and Canada. The U.S. Environmental Protection Program has listed Cold Fire on their Significantly New Alternative Policy Program Vendor List. This list contains products that are considered acceptable alternatives to toxic products on the market today. The U.S. Forest Service Fire Laboratory conducted an 18- month test program. Cold Fire is now listed on their Qualified Product List (QPL) as an approved agent for wild fire applications. Cold Fire surpasses other products on the QPL in terms of health & safety hazards and use restrictions.

Cold Fire can be applied to wildfires by several methods:
- using engines or from pumping stations along a fire line
- by helicopters using a Bambi bucket or other approved airborne methods.

An application of a small percentage of Cold Fire to water is required with no special equipment, training and cleanup. This mixture can also be sprayed on structures and surrounding areas for protection from oncoming wildfires.

Cold Fire has many applications beyond wildfires and structure protection. Cold Fire is an excellent safety product for plumbers, welders, roofers and all who work with hot surfaces and open flames.
